The summer vacation is a long break from school during the hot months of May and June, that may last anything between a month and a half and two. The temperatures touch forty degrees Celsius and more in almost the whole of India, and schools give their students a long summer vacation. Students thus save themselves from venturing out in and exposing themselves to the summer sun.

Whenever you have free time, you can improve your skills in games like cricket, cricket, badminton, football or basketball. People who like cricket or cricket can play cricket during the summer vacation. These activities keep everyone exciting and absorb their energy.

After finishing the summer vacation, all students join the school again for their regular syllabus. Even though no exams are on this summer vacation, the students improve their knowledge and skills in the subjects they do not study in their school.

Summer vacation had started for various schools. I could see my brother and sister playing games in the balcony. My sister in one of the games and my brother teased her by giving her a hard slap on her face. Looking at their play and the concerns of their parents in their eyes, my mother decided to scold them and disturb their game. We scolded them and punished them for (playing) games that are against the rules. We suspended them. After their suspension, we let them play only when they wished to.

The area where I live is less developed. I have not seen many people playing cricket, but have seen some playing football. It is a very good game to play in the heat of the summer. The game involves running from one end of a football field to the other end, and kicking the ball into the oppositions’ playing field. d2c66b5586
